Strategy Tree

A strategy tree may be required in the following situations:

1. You need to formulate strategies for business units and support functions at level 2 and assign ownership to the business unit and support function managers.

2. You need to further cascade the level 2 strategies into level 3 capability or product and service strategies and assign ownership to product and capability managers.

If a strategy cascade is not required in the manner described above, the entire strategy can be created as part of the corporate strategy. In this case, the corporate strategy may be sufficient.
