1. Establish Vision

Vision is the desired future state and defines the overall reason for implemention

• 1.1 Identify Stakeholders - a stakeholder is any person, organization, social group, or society at large that has a stake in the business. A function assumed by a stakeholder is called a Role. A matter of interest or importance to the stakeholder is called Concern. One of the first steps in the process is to document a list of stakeholders, roles and concerns. • 1.2 Define Vision - Describe the overall reason for implementing InnowayIT application. Vision should describe the desired future state that should exist after the implementation. Best practices to write a vision statement: be clear and concise, show commitment, be futuristic, be inspiring, should reflect a team-culture, and be challenging. Some sample vision statements for IT. "to accelerate the transition to a business-aligned, cloud-enabled, AI-driven IT”, "to adopt technology business management best practices towards a cost effective, reliable, modern and business aligned IT"

• 1.3 Identify Disruptions - Identify the internal and external challenges facing the organization which demand organizational response.

• 1.4. Define SMART Objectives - Define the end results organization is trying to achieve. Business objectives should be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. Link business objectives to KPIs

• 1.5 Identify Strategic Themes - Identify the main strategic themes which are relevant to the organizations.
