Usecases
A use case is a:
list of actions or events which define the interaction between a user role and a system to achieve a business outcome -- adapted from Wikipedia
ITBM use cases are all the different ways organizational end users can use InnowayIT platform to achieve their business outcomes. Use cases can be divided into foundational, advanced and expert use cases.
Foundational Use Cases - these are essential use cases and provide the enabling layer for more advanced use cases. Cataloging business, IT and finance related entities and interlinking them are some of these use cases e.g. cataloging and linking applications, capabilities, stacks or initiatives
Advanced Use Cases - include use cases in which catalogs developed during foundational stage are leveraged and assessed, prioritized or rationalized e.g. application rationalization, initiatives prioritization, capability maturity assessment
Expert Use Cases - these use cases bring together the outputs of foundational and advanced use cases to develop more complex strategies for the organization.
