Import Wizard

makes it easy to import data into InnowayIT application

Data Import Wizard is a:

tool to map and import data from a file, such as comma-seperated-values (CSV) into InnowayIT tables

Steps in import process:

1. Navigate to Configuration Tool and select Import option in the sidebar

2. Click create new button to create a new import record or Edit an existing import record which is still 'open'. Select object to import and browse & select file

3. Data from the file is displayed in an HTML table

4. Map each HTML column to a table column by selecting from drop down

5. Click Import button

6. Import wizard will process each record in the HTML table and mark the status: Successful or Failed (with reason). Import record status is 'Closed'

7. A log of import activity is generated and can be retrieved by clicking on the Log link
